Miranda is a native of Conyers, GA and a graduate of Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, GA, where she received her BS in Nursing in 2015. During her time as a registered nurse, Miranda has specialized in many pediatric populations, but spent most of her time in the Emergency Department at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
She went on to earn a Master’s of Science in Acute and Primary Care Nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2021.
Miranda’s passion for pediatrics began when she was a teenager teaching swim lessons in the Decatur community. As she continued in her education, her love for the pediatric population grew stronger. Throughout her career, she has held strongly to the desire for all children to have successful outcomes.
